Little bit about me

                                                   Hi, I'm Andrew Davis and I'm an avid musician and gamer, and i tend                                                               to be quite chatty :s

Which isn't always a good thing especially when i get sidetracked from doing something else.

I took BTEC Media because i have a great interest in films and how they're made. My favorite film at the moment is probably the avengers as I'm a bit of a geek when it comes to marvel.

As I said I'm a gamer and it's become a part of my life now as I'm doing Games Development, and it does help actually when it comes to ideas say like story boards and certain ways to do things, and I'm not the ordinary Call of Duty player if something catches my eye i play it, as at the moment I'm playing GTA V, Assassins Creed 3-especially this as its my favorite game series of all time because of the amazing story behind all of it! And Bioshock Infinte. I would say the game I'm most proud of is Borderlands 2 as I'm the highest level being 72, a people tend o ask me about things within the game as i practically know it all!

The same can be said for films the most recent films I've watched are Hansel and Gretel: Witch hunters, Iron man 3 and Mama I know some of those may not be the greatest films on the planet but in my eyes they're really good as the story is really clear to understand and that's why I like them. This is probably the main reason i took media as I'm just so interested in the stories behind films and one day I hope to write one of my own.


I play the guitar and the piano, and use them as much as I can to my advantage, and hopefully for the music video in BTEC Media i would like to be part of the video:)I play anything and everything as long as I like it. But the main bands and artists i listen to are Newton Faulkner (his second album was the first one I ever bought) Frank Turner (I can play the majority of his songs) and Foo Fighters ( if only I could sing like Dave Grohl) I have my 3 guitars which all serve different purposes when it comes to learning songs as ones and electric the other 2 are acoustic but ones 6-string and the others 12-string, the reason i have these is because i play such diverse songs as you cant get certain techniques out of certain guitars.
