DepicT! Idea Overview

In our group, we have decided upon a video that we are calling 'The Life of Hands' which will basically entail us doing every day activities, but with our hands as the people. We will have to make miniature version of certain things. We said we could play football, we will have to make a mini football for that, or Yoga, where we'll have to make mini yoga mats. But with that point made, the camera shots are going to primarily be close ups, as we don't want to people to know it's us.

The basic story outline is that the first 75-80 seconds are going to be of the actual 'Life of Hands', so them embarking on daily activities, and then right at the and we're going to cut to someone walking into a room with a confused look on there face and the cut to a long shot of us three sitting round a table with all the different objects from the earlier part of the video.

Friday 18th

Today we had to make our storyboard for our video, it ended up consisting of 23 different  shots, to begin with we didn't really have a narrative, but Sean gaves us te idea of having a disco scene, which we then elaborated on this idea and came up with our story, this one does contain speech as to give it  bit of shape, the story is about a hand person called Mandy and another called Andy, it's the story of these two meeting at a disco. But there is Mandy's boyfriend Dave, who splits them up when there dancing together, Andy then leaves but Mandy catches up with him and explains that she doesn't like Dave. Then the camera zooms out, and its just us sitting round a table and then someone else walks inand asks us what we're doing, to give it a comedic twist. We also started all the paperwork that we need to finish next lesson.
