Artist Research

Frank Turner is an English folk/Rock artist, who before being with his current band The Sleeping Souls (named after an line in one of their songs) was the lead of the punk band, Million Dead. In 2005 the band split and he decided that he would pursue an acoustic career. In 2006 he released his first EP 'Campfire Punk Rock' which had a total of 5 songs but 6 on a vinyl. Frank went to Eaton University to do a scholarship alongside Prince William The songs he wrote for the first album and all that would follow are ones about his fight with depression and his views on politics. Frank's songs focus on things personal to him, such as how he battled  with depression and even political elements. The band has been going for 8 years and have just released their 6 album Positive Songs for Negative People in which there is the song Get Better which is the song that we have chosen to make our music video on. He has one 3 awards which were Kerrang 2010 for No Half Measures and 2 at AIM  for Best Live and Hardest Working artist. He also bagged a live performance at the opening of the London Olympics in 2012.
His style is very casual, he tends to wear a white shirt and black jeans no makeup. This shows that he is just likie everyone else as he doesn't stand out
