Skills I could take to a job at the moment;

1- I'm experienced in working with people

a) I have a part time job

b) I work in groups with others at college

c) I did a weeks work experience at high school

2- I control my time well

a) as I play music i have to control my time well in order to be able to practice and get my work done

b)I try my best to make sure that my work is done for the deadline

c)I organise my time after college to make sure I'm as productive as possible

3- I am well educated in how to use computers and the software on them

a) I took the IT course at my high school and achieved an A grade in it

b) I am currently taking the Games Development course at college which requires the use of computers and their software

c)I have been working at home with different pieces of software to expand my knowledge and will make me a more useful asset in the working world

4- I am an avid learner

a) I concentrate at college to make sure that I learn as much as possible about a task before I undertake it

b) If i wish to learn about something in more detail I will go home and research it further

c) I think the more educated you are in a certain field then you are more likely to be able to get a job

5- I have a positive attitude towards work

a) I am willing to do what ever is required of me to make sure I keep the job and maybe get a better job from it.

b) I would ant to get on the 'good list' with my employer so if I changed job they might be more willing to give you a reference

c) Having a positive attitude will give me more chance of getting a job



Part time job- a part time job is when someone is employed but works for less than 30-35 hours a week and get payed for doing so, they may choose to work from home or go in to their place of work.

Full time a full time job is when a person works a certain amount of hours agreed with the employer, full time jobs are defined as being careers. They generally pay more than part time jobs as well.

GCSE- General Certificate in Secondary Education

AS/A Level- General Certificate in Education Advanced Level

Pass, Merit, Distinction- P=E
                                       M=C
                                       D=A
Vocational- this is a course that will help you into a specific industry such as mechanical engineering
